Biking to Sword in Rock

It was in Hafrsfjord that Harald Hårfagre fought a battle that collected Norway into one kingdom in 872 AD. 

The guide will meet you outside the Stavanger tourist information at 9 am and walk you to the bikes, 5 minutes walk. On your booking, choose between ladys bike og gents. We have also bikes for young people. 

On our way to the famous fjord, Hafrsfjord, we will passed by beautiful lakes and parks. The guide will tell you about the bats who spend the nights along the Moswater and there will be a a visit at the famous Iron Age Farm (LINK) at Ullandhaug. And of course we enter the tower and have a panoramic view of Stavanger area. (LINK)

From the tower, we continue through the forrest to the famous Hafrsfjord and Ice Paradise, where there will be outdoor lunch. There will be plenty of time to walk around, take some photos, or swim in the fjord? 

From the bay, there is 2 mintes biking to the kayaks, get ready for kayak adventure.

Kayaking in famous Hafrsfjord

Now the fun begin. We will dressed you in drysuit, neoprene shoes, and have some wet water activities.  

The weather, and wind, could be a challenge in Hafrsfjord. Sometimes we are able to cross the fjord, sometimes not. Anyway, to kayaking in the fjord is a great thing to do. You are at historical ground, eh.. sea. The guide will tell you the story about the battle. 

The wildlife in the fjord is abundant. You will see a lot of birds. If we able to cross the fjord, you may also see some seals? 

Depend of the weather, there will be 1-2 hours kayaking the fjord. 

Yes, of course we should have some fun before we enter the kayaks. Get ready to have a wet luck. We guarantee you dry underwear after the session.
