Join us hiking at Kvitsøy.
Kvitsøy is an island municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. At only 6.29-square-kilometre (2.43 sq mi), it is the smallest municipality in Norway by area. Kvitsøy is located in the traditional district of Ryfylke.
The tour begins with a ferry from Mekjarvik to Kvitsoy. This 40 minutes ferry ride is quite an adventure. To be outside during crossing over to Kvitsøy is outstanding, especially bad weather with big waves.

Time schedule (Monday-Friday)
08.00: The guide will meet you outside Stavanger touristinformation. Bus or by car to Mekjarvik, 20 minutes
08.55: Ferry to Kvitsøy, 40 minutes.
10.00: While arriving the island there will be 20 minutes walking to the center. In the center we will visit the interesting lobster museum.
12.00: Lunch time. And of course we will serve you a hot meal prepared over a bonfire.
13.00: A guided tour around the Island. We go along a track very close to the ocean. Panorama view.
16.10: Ferry back to Mekjarvik and Stavanger city center.
The tour is perfect for all types of hikers. A must if you want a hike close to the North Sea.
