Tour description

The guide will meet you outside the tourist information at 08.30 and walk you to the bikes, 10 minutes. We get ourselves and the bikes on the train and spend an hour from Stavanger to Egersund watching beautiful scenery from the train window.
The start of our ride is along the abandoned railway track from Egersund to Hellvik. From Hellvik we ride "over the mountain" to Brusand and have a nice lunch at the "house by the ocean".

"Huset ved havet" (house by the ocean)

Right in the heart of the open Jæren landscape, with the sea as its nearest neighbour. Only 400 meters from the sea, you will find the House by The Sea or more precisely, the Houses by the Sea.
Take a walk along the beach, go fishing in the nearby salmon river, go birdwatching, play a round of golf or simply relax whilst the children enjoy the play area in the garden.

After a nice lunch, we continue north to Hå Old Vicarage and Obrestad lighthouse. This is a must and we will spend some time here for a great photo opportunity.

Save room for more pictures, for there is much more to see. I you will want to take some photos while we cross the hanging bridge
The "road" ahed to Sola Beach hotel, runs right by to the ocean, the North Sea. We will pass by beautiful beaches and picturesque surroundings.
Once we arrive the hotel, some may end the trip here. At Sola Strand beach hotel you can spend the night at the hotel, enjoy the spa or walk on the lovely Sola beach.

If you prefer go back to Stavanger right a way, a taxi will pick you up and drive you back to your hotel.
