Randonee i Sirdal
Join us to the summit, for beginners

The word randonee is French and means "going on a hike". And that's exactly what it's all about. You go skiing and then go back for dinner.

In Norway, we have been doing this for years already, on our feet, on snowshoes, on skis made of wood, cross country skiing, mountain skiing, telemark skiing, and now, randonee.

Dates for 2018:         23-25 February    9-11 March    23-25 March    6-8 April

Price: 4200,- which includes

  • 2-3 hours theoretical lessons Tuesday
  • Free ski-demo Friday. Ski-lift not included
  • Theoretical and practical lessons Saturday
  • Heavy off pist skiing and skiing technique training Sunday

In cooperation with Platou Sport, Rogaland Aktiv AS arranges a special randonee weekend in Sirdal. This will be a great off piste weekend with top instructors and skiers.

If you fall a lot, you will be the best

Take a look at the video of Eirik Borgersen going off-piste. He will be your instructor Sunday, hang on!!

This is a weekend for those who want to get started with randonee, or just want to learn about downhill skiing in the mountain. You do not need to have previous experience from the summit, but you must have some experience from off piste skiing.

Program

Tuesday (2-3 hours)

Before the weekend we meet in the Platou shop in Sandnes at 6 pm for a few hours of theoretical lessons. We will cover topics such as avalanche, equipment, snow and snow profiles and much more. Refreshments will be served.
